Peterson (Horseheads, NY) finished the season with 8 goals and 5 assists for 13 points, and was selected as first team defenseman in region III.  Peterson finished his career at Broome totaling 16 goals and 16 assists for 32 points.  Peterson was named an assistant captain at the end of his freshman season, as a freshman he was also selected to the Region III All-Rookie team as well as a second team defenseman nomination. 

Peterson is the seventh Hornet hockey player to earn All-America Honors in the past four seasons.
