The Hornets played a back and forth game with Finger Lakes CC on Wednesday night in the Baldwin Gymnasium before going cold down the stretch, as the Lakers closed out with a 77-65 victory.
Broome had four players in double figures, led by a Jalin Pitts' double-double to the tune of 16 points and 18 rebounds to go with his 2 blocks. K-Cie Salmon also scored 16 points on 4-8 shooting from the arc. Garrett Bieber also turned in a double-double with collegiate highs in both points and rebounds, 14 and 11 respectively. Andrew Charles contributed 13 points and added 8 boards of his own. Seth Roselle, Jr chipped in with 5 assists and 6 rebounds.
Men's basketball returns home this Saturday for another MSAC contest against Tompkins Cortland CC beginning at noon. The Hornets will look to avenge a seven point loss against the Panthers from eight days ago.
