Brian Long found the back of the net twice to start the scoring for Broome (2-1) and teammates Alec Morris, Connor Lofgren and Kevin Cullen each scored a goal en route to the 5-0 win against Union College in Schenectady, NY.

Joakim Axen had 28 saves for the Hornets to notch his first shutout of the year while his counterpart Eric Robinson had 16 stops for Union.

Broome is now off for a week and travel to Buffalo next Saturday to face Erie at 3:00 p.m.
