Freshman goaltender Joakim Axen (Onsala, Sweden) will be playing Division III hockey next season for the Salem State University Vikings.  Axen started 12 games for the Hornets this season recording a 4-8 record.  Axen faced 467 shots stopping 432 of them, the second most saves in the country.  Axen had a 3.85 goals against average, and a .902 save percentage which was the second best in the nation.  Axen was selected to the Region III All-Rookie team.
