Men Drop MSAC Contest On The Road

Broome player positioning for ball
@ Cayuga

Broome fell to the Spartans of Cayuga CC in Auburn on Wednesday evening, 3-0, in a MSAC matchup.  Broome saw the better side of the game in the opening 40 minutes, having more of the ball and more shots, but in the 40th minute it was Cayuga who got the board.  Shortly after, the Spartans were clinical in putting away their second goal of the match.

Midway through the second half, a lapse in the Hornets defense proved costly again, as Cayuga scored their third and final goal of the afternoon.  Adam Burns had an outstanding game in net for the Hornets with 17 saves on the night.

Broome dropped to 2-4 overall; 1-1 MSAC while Cayuga remained undefeated at 4-0 overall; 1-0 MSAC.  Broome will host Jefferson CC next Wednesday at 4:00 P.M. on Alumni Field.
