The men's soccer team started off the weekend against Region III's 4th ranked Onondaga CC on Saturday in Syracuse and fell 11-0 before facing the Region's 2nd ranked and NJCAA's 5th ranked Mohawk Valley CC dropping that game 3-0.

On Saturday the Hornets managed just 2 shots on goal while the Lazers racked up 22. Onondaga scored just a little over three minutes in and never looked back. Eric Yingling had 8 saves in net for Broome.

Sunday saw a game Hornet squad frustrate the nation's 5th ranked Hawks, limiting them to just 7 shots and 3 goals. Despite the loss Broome showed significant improvement behind the play of Jacob Waibel and Mateo Lata.

The Hornets look to continue improving when they host Jamestown CC next Saturday at 3:00 P.M.
