The men's cross country team took 1st place on Saturday at the Region III 8K XC Championships hosted by Finger Lakes CC. Broome (38 points) finished with three runners in the top four spots to finish ahead of runnerup Hudson Valley CC (66 points).

Conner Smith (27:30.1) finished in first place in the field of 57 runners, Jakob Getchell (28:10.6) placed third and Lucas Baker (28:21.9) finished fourth. Eric DeHart (30:30.6) and Riley Transue (30:39.6) finished in the top twenty to help the Hornets to the first place finish.

Broome will head to Holyoke CC in Westfield, MA for the NJCAA DIII XC Championships starting Saturday, November 5th.
