The women's lacrosse team defeated Erie CC 15-14 at Alumni Field Saturday afternoon in a game that saw numerous ties and lead changes. Allison Ryan (Binghamton, NY/Binghamton) gave the Hornets the lead for good when her shot found its way into the back of the net with just under 20 seconds left in the game. Ryan led the scoring with 9 goals and teammates Kaitlyn Marshall (Endicott, NY/Union-Endicott) had 4 goals and Tess Zizak (Vestal, NY/Vestal) and Shannon Miller (Binghamton, NY/Binghamton) added a goal apiece. Megan Murphy earned her second win of the year with 10 saves.

The Hornets travel to Batavia on Monday for a 4:00 p.m. make-up game against Genesee CC.
