Women's Tennis Team Makes It Two in a Row

Ali Krowiak lost a heartbreaker, 10-8 in the third set tiebreaker at No.1 singles but came back strong with doubles partner Emily Denney at No.1 doubles to get the point back. Krowiak and Denney were tied at 5-5 in their doubles match before winning the last three out of four games to pull out the victory. Denney and Hillahn Steika both pulled out close second sets to win their matches at No.2 and No.3 singles to improve to 2-0 on the year.  Lindsey Crawford and Yelena Yevsina also improved their records to 2-0 at No.4 and No.5 singles as they both won 12 straight games  to notch 6-0, 6-0 singles victories.  Despite a slow start by Steika and Yevsina at No.2 doubles they were able to pull out the victory in their match, 8-5.
