The women's cross country team came in behind Hudson Valley CC on Saturday in the 5K Region III XC Championships hosted by Finger Lakes CC.

The Hornets saw two runners finish in the top five in the field of eighteen. Aja Jackson came in at 21:13.9 right behind Erie's Lydia Smith at 20:52.3 for the 2nd place finish. Claudia Chermak came in at 23:49.0 good enough for a 5th place finish. Rounding out the field to help Broome to the 2nd place finish was Sydney Velez Mattiace, Mikenzie Knapick and Yueqi Diao.

Broome will head to Holyoke CC in Westfield, MA for the NJCAA DIII XC Championships starting Saturday, November 5th.
