Men Fall At Home

Broome player going in for a layup
S Roselle, Jr

The men's basketball team dropped their third straight game on Wednesday night, falling to Mohawk Valley CC 99-53 in a Region III contest played at home. The Hawks length and defensive pressure was too much for the Hornets to handle as they couldn't get anything going offensively. Broome managed just 17 points in the first half and finished the game shooting 31% from the field for the game.

The Hornets had two players score in double figures, led by Seth Roselle, Jr with 15 points and 6 assists. Andrew Charles tallied 11 points in the losing effort. Both Roselle, Jr and Charles made two 3-pointers in the game. Matthew Paige led the way in rebounds with 9 boards to go with his 3 points.

Broome will travel to Queensbury this Saturday for a Region III matchup, scheduled for a 3:00 P.M. tipoff, against SUNY Adirondack.
