The Hornets traveled to Union College on Sunday where they ran into a tough Union team and fell 7-2. Michael Feranti (Port Crane, NY/Chenango Valley) scored on a power play goal in the second period on an assist from Tyler Zweig (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Forks).  Zweig would add a unassisted goal later in the period making the game 3-2.  The Union power play took over in the third period scoring two goals while the Hornets were killing off a major penalty.  Dustin Plumadore (Plattsburgh, NY/Beekmantown) made 42 saves for the Hornets. 

This Wednesday the hockey team will travel to Utica for a 7:30 p.m. face-off against Mohawk Valley CC in a Region III game.
