Hockey Ends 4-Game Skid

The hockey team ended their 4-game losing streak with a 3-2 win against the Albany Club Team on Saturday at the SUNY Broome Ice Center.  Albany jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first period before Kyle Waronker (Scottsdale, AZ / Chaparall) put the Hornets on the board in the second period on a power play with assists going to Ryan Norris (Rochester, NY/Hilton) and Austin Bradish (West Chazy, NY / Beekmantown).  Bradish found the back of the net for the second Broome goal with assists going to Ryan Corey (Binghamton, NY / Chenango Valley) and Rocco DeAngelo (Binghamton, NY / Susquehanna Valley).  Ruslan Moskvitin (Toronto, Canada / Northview Heights) would score the game winning goal on another power play with assists going to Josh Maus (Binghamton, NY / Chenango Forks) and Matthew Evans (Binghamton, NY / Windsor).  Owen Miller (Endicott, NY / Union-Endicott) made 35 saves for the Hornets.

The Hornets will travel to Utica on Wednesday to take on the Mohawk Valley Hawks at the New Hartford Recreation Center scheduled to begin at 7:30.
