This Week In Broome Hockey

Still not the start the Hornets hoped for as another two games ticked off the schedule and the Hornets have a record of 0-5-0, but as we said last week it is not how you start, but how you finish. The Hornets have a couple of shots over the next 7 days to improve on that record and build some momentum for the second half of the NJCAA schedule.

Tonight, the Hornets will take on the Elmira JV Eagles in Elmira. The second stop on the three game road trip takes the Hornets to the domes. Elmira consistently puts out a solid product and will attempt to do so again. The Hornets will attempt to take this first of two meetings with the Eagles as the month of November will continue to roll on.  Game time is 7:45 p.m. at the Elmira Domes.

On Saturday, the bus makes the final stop of the road trip as the Hornets take on the Vikings of Hudson Valley again looking to get a measure of revenge for the 10-4 beating they took on SUNY Broome ice. The Puck will drop at 1:00 p.m. from Troy, NY.

A week from tonight the Hornets finally get back on home ice to take on the Elmira JV team for the second time. One team will have a W, while the other looks to avenge a loss. To find out which, you'll have to tune in tonight. However, that is also the beginning of the final stretch of the 2016 portion of the season, after next Wednesday SUNY Broome has only 4 games left on the schedule. So come on down to the SUNY Broome Ice Center and be a part of Hornets Hockey!
