Not the way the Hornets hoped to kick off 2017. Hudson Valley came to town with something to prove shutting out our Hornets 16-0 despite an amazing effort by Brett Clow in relief of Austen Strauss, followed up by a forfeit due to roster issues on Saturday against Erie. This week is an easy, one game week heading up to Hudson Valley to look for retribution.

The Hornets board the bus Saturday to take on the Hudson Valley Vikings who have really turned it on here in 2017 with a 3-1-0 record thus far. The Hornets will have to find a way to compete with a team who has been among the best in the division as they look to rebound from a slow start. Game time is 1pm at the Robert M. Conway Ice Rink at McDonough Sports Complex.
