The men's lacrosse team lost a road game in Rochester to Monroe CC 23-11 on Sunday afternoon.
Matt LaRose won 23 of 35 face offs and Monroe (8-5) controlled possession as the Tribunes beat the Hornets (3-6) at home 23-11. Monroe led 10-6 at the half and Broome could draw no closer. Michael Ferranti (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Valley) led the Hornets on the day with 4 goals and 1 assist. Attackman Michael Doll (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Forks) added a goal and 2 assists. Goalie Nicholas Figuerado (Owego, NY/Owego Free Academy) made 18 saves on the day.
Broome goes back out on the road this Wednesday to face Genesee CC at 7pm.
