The men's soccer team defeated Jefferson CC 2-0 at Alumni Field Wednesday afternoon in a MSAC soccer match. After a scoreless first half Robbie Hoover (Vestal/Vestal, NY) found the back of the net, courtesy of a through ball from Alex Pelto (Vestal/Vestal, NY), in the 47th minute to put the Hornets on the scoreboard. Nathan Krome (Johnson City/Johnson City, NY) scored 20 minutes later off a cross from Chris Ames (Chenango Forks/Binghamton, NY). The Hornets outshot the Cannoneers 28-2 and held a 10-0 advantage in corner kicks.

SUNY Broome is off until next Wednesday when they travel to Syracuse for a 4:30 soccer match against Onondaga CC.
