Two Softball Players Earn All-Conference Honors

2024 Mid-State Athletic Conference Softball Honors

Hannah Aton and Alana Espinoza have received Mid-State Athletic Conference recognitions.

Aton was selected to the MSAC All-Conference Team, while Espinoza was named MSAC Honorable Mention. 

Aton led the team in batting average with a .516 mark, collected 32 hits including a home run and six triples, drove in seven runs, scored 23 runs, and stole eight bases. She had a .552 on-base percentage and a .806 slugging percentage on the season. In the field, Aton totaled 68 putouts, 23 assists, and had a remarkable .938 fielding percentage.

Espinoza was second on the team in batting average with a .348 mark, collected 16 hits including six doubles, two triples, and a home run, drove in 12 runs, scored 16 runs, and stole five bases. She had a .434 on-base percentage as well. In the field, Espinoza starred primarily as a pitcher for Broome, collecting two wins and striking out 61 batters over 62.2 innings pitched, good for a 6.81 strikeouts/7 innings mark.
