The baseball team hit the road on Sunday for a doubleheader with Jamestown CC and came away with a split, dropping the opener 8-2, and coming out on top in game two 8-5.  Jamestown took a 1-0 lead after the first inning and took the lead for good in the fourth, plating seven more runs.  Zachary Felter took the loss for Broome, he went three and a third innings, allowing eight runs on eight hits and striking out three. Kyle Balmer led the Hornets with two hits in three at bats.

Broome took game two of the twinbill despite an early Jamestown lead. A big fourth inning gave the Hornets the lead for good, behind key hits by Brady Harrington and Balmer knocking in 3 runs.  Broome put up three more runs in the fifth inning, thanks to a single by Damian Parker and a double by Ben Coscia.  Max Telfer earned the win, he surrendered four runs on six hits over five innings, striking out one.  Richard Mastroiani threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen, recording the last six outs to earn the save.
