Broome fell to Tompkins Cortland CC on Saturday in Dryden 74-62 before returning home on Sunday for a non-regional game against SUNY ESF, also dropping that one 74-62.

Two runs by the Panthers, one in the first half and one in the second half helped TC3 pull away for the win. In the first half a 14 point run by the host team ended up with the Hornets down 30-26 at the half. Broome came back to take a lead early in the second half only to be answered by Tompkins Cortland. The Panthers went on a 17-0 run mid-half and never looked back. Jean Senatus had 17 points and Seth Roselle, Jr chipped in 10 points to pace the Hornets scoring.

On Sunday, the Hornets held SUNY ESF to under 30 points in the second half but struggled to score against the length of the Mighty Oaks zone. Senatus continued to be dominant on the inside with 17 points and 12 rebounds, 7 of those points coming from the charity stripe. Cassidy Williamson-Chin provided great energy on the defensive end and contributed 11 points and 5 rebounds and Andrew Charles added 12 points and 7 rebounds.

Broome will host Jefferson CC this Wednesday evening in the Baldwin Gymnasium at 8:00 P.M.
