Chermak Leads Men's Cross Country At Bronco Classic

The men's cross country team competed in the Bronco Classic at SUNY Delhi on Wednesday.

Joseph Chermak was the top finisher for the Hornets with a time of 19:08.80 in the 5K race, good for 7th place overall. Jacob Zajdel was not far behind Chermak as the next Hornets' finisher, logging a time of 22:48.20 in 13th place.

Demetrius Wilson Jr. and Lucas McPeak finished back-to-back for Broome with respective times of 24:15.10 and 24:15.40, in 15th and 16th place. Zavien Rouhana was the final SUNY Broome finisher. He logged a time of 27:48.90 and came in in 21st place.

The team will have a 10-day break until October 19, the date of the Mid-State Athletic Conference Championship meet, which will be hosted by Finger Lakes CC.
