The men's lacrosse team defeated Mohawk Valley CC 12-11 in Utica Thursday afternoon in the last minute of play. The Hornets (2-1) were led by Joshua Bradford (Johnson City, NY/Johnson City) with 6 goals and 2 assists including back to back goals to tie it up at 11-11 with 3:16 left on the clock. The winning goal came with 21 seconds left on a shot from Harrison Gardiner (Binghamton, NY/Binghamton) for his second goal of the game. Jimmy Zervos (Binghamton, NY/Binghamton) added 3 goals and 2 assists and Jack Maczko (Vestal, NY/Vestal) rounded out the scoring with a goal and an assist. Nicholas Figuerado (Owego, NY / Owego Free Academy) had 14 saves on 20 shots on goal.

The Hornets will host Monroe CC this Saturday at Binghamton Alumni Stadium with a 1:00 p.m. scheduled start time.
