Men's Lacrosse Team Cruise To Road Win In New Jersey

The men's lacrosse defeated the County College of Morris 15-8 in Randolph, NJ on Wednesday afternoon in a non-regional game. The Hornets started off  the 1st quarter with goals from Jack Doherty (Binghamton, NY/Binghamton) and William O'Shea (Binghamton, NY/Binghamton). Broome cruised into the half with an 8-3 lead and never looked back. Joshua Bradford (Johnson City, NY/Johnson City) led all scorers with 7 goals and 1 assist. Harrison Gardiner (Binghamton, NY/Binghamton) scored 3 goals and added an assist, O'Shea had a goal and an assist and Jimmy Zervos (Binghamton, NY/Binghamton) chipped in with 2 goals and 5 assists. Nicholas Figuerado (Owego, NY/Owego Free Academy) recorded 12 saves on the 20 shots he faced.

The Hornets improved to 3-2 heading into next Tuesdays 4:00 p.m. home match with the NJCAA's 2nd ranked team in the nation, the Lazers from Onondaga CC.
