Baseball Falls At Home

The Hornets fell 15-1 in the first game and 12-2 in the second on Saturday to Finger Lakes CC at Hornet Field. Neil McCormack homered in the second inning for Broome's only run of the game. Richard Mastroianni picked up the loss for the host team. 

In game two, Broome lost 12-2. Quixuano Mills led the Hornets with two hits. The Lakers never trailed in the game after scoring two runs in the first inning. Broome closed the deficit to 5-2 in the bottom of the fourth on a two-run single by Brandon Sanford. Matthew Bowman allowed nine runs in five innings, walked three and struck out four to pick up the loss.
