The Hornets closed out their season with a road victory in Watertown on Tuesday night, defeating Jefferson CC 89-80.  In their final game as Hornets, Broome's second year starters came up big, Rahiem Grant dominated the paint and Lucas Iacobucci owned the permitter. Grant finished with 28 points on 11-18 shooting, including 1-2 from 3 point range, and a 5-7 performance from the free throw line. He also hauled in 15 rebounds and blocked 3 shots.  Iacobucci found himself to be the beneficiary of some unselfish ball movement from his teammates and converted on those opportunities, going 5-10 from beyond the arc. He also converted a couple of steals into baskets at the other end, on his way to a 20 point night. He finished the night with 3 steals in total, added 8 rebounds and 3 assists.

The unselfish play mentioned earlier manifested itself into 23 team assists out of the 33 field goals made.  Freshman Point Guard Tron Smith, Jr. led the way in that category with 7, to go along with 7 rebounds. Reginald Vaughan would contribute 4 of those assists to go along with his 11 points. Also in double figures was Rasmus Kristensen who converted four 3 point goals of his own.  Another result of the unselfish play was that all ten Hornets scored.
