The men's soccer team dropped game two in the Herkimer Invitational on Sunday against Ocean County CC 3-1.  Much like Saturday's match, both teams fought hard and finished the first half scoreless.

The second half started the same way before Broome got on the board first in the 69th minute off a clever finish inside the six by Pedro Marcano, assisted by Jacob Deuel.  That would be all the offense Broome could muster the rest of the match.  Ocean County responded to the Hornet goal with three unanswered goals of their own.

Broome had many chances in the match but couldn't convert, holding a 19-12 advantage in shots on goal and a 8-2 advantage on corners.  Adam Burns finished the day with four saves in goal for SUNY Broome.

The Hornets return home for a 4:30 P.M. MSAC match against Corning CC this Wednesday at Alumni Field.
