The men's soccer team defeated Corning CC, 10-1 on Wednesday evening in a MSAC match played on Alumni Field.  The resounding win was started of by two of James Parnaby's goals at the 4:10 mark followed by another just 10 seconds later and the Hornets never looked back.  Broome captain Charlie Desforges notched the first of his three goals in the 12th minute of play, assisted by Parnaby.  Desforges scored his second of the match in the 19th minute and completed the hat trick at the 43:04 mark.  Broome scored three more goals within a 10 minute span beginning in the 23rd minute, with two goals from Pedro Marcano and one from Thomas Gilroy.  Co-Captain, Ismar Turkovic scored late in the first half with his first of the season off an assist from Ickfaz Chaudhry.

Jacob Howard scored the lone goal of the second half for Broome in the 80th minute. Adam Burns earned the win in goal with one save in 71 minutes of play before being relieved by Jacob Deuel in net.  Broome dominated the Red Barons in shots on goal, 18-2, as well as corners, 10-1.

The Hornets improve to 2-2-0 on the season and travel to Sanborn, NY for a 3:00 P.M. match on Saturday against Niagara County CC.
