Women Fall In Weekend Tournament

The women's basketball team fell to two Division II teams this weekend in the Crossover Classic hosted by Corning CC.  Broome struggled offensively in both games, on Saturday the Hornets fell to Jamestown CC, 74-34, and on Sunday fell to Genesee CC, 77-29.

In Saturday's against the Jayhawks, Broome was led by Julianna Mushalla with 10 points and 5 assists, Clyneia Willard added 8 points and 4 steals, and Kasey Krewson chipped in with 7 points and 2 blocks. 

Sunday's game against the Cougars was more of the same, led by Mushalla, Willard and Krewson, posting 12 points and 5 assists, 9 points and 3 assists, and 6 points and a block respectively.
 
The Hornets are off until Friday when they travel to Buffalo and face another Division II opponent, Niagara County CC, scheduled to tip at 7:00 P.M.
