The #7 seeded women's basketball team fell to the #2 seeded North Country Saints in the quarterfinals on Tuesday evening by a score of 95-50. The Hornets had no answer for the Saint's Alaysia Bradford who connected on 9 of her first 10 three pointers in the first half on her way to a 31 point night. North Country took the lead right out of the gate and never looked back. Broome committed 21 turnovers on the night with the bulk of them coming in the first half.

For the second time in as many games the Hornets saw all eight players get into the scoring column. Ava Eichler paced Broome with 20 points and added 5 rebounds, an assist and steal to her lines and Melissa Carden added 10 points and 7 rebounds. Brooke Ladd led the way on the glass with 12 rebounds while Dana Stepp chipped in with 5 assists, 5 boards and 4 points. Megan Carden contributed with 8 rebounds to go with her 5 points and 2 steals.

The Hornets close out the season with a record of 13-11, good enough for 7th place finish in Region III and a MSAC record of 8-6, good enough for a 4th place finish.
