The volleyball team finished the day 2-1 in Herkimer on Saturday beating both Mohawk Valley and Herkimer and falling to Fulton-Montgomery. In the first match against Mohawk valley Broome won 3-1 by set scores of 25-20, 25-16, 23-25, 25-12. Against Fulton-Montgomery the Hornets fell 3-2 by set scores of 25-19, 22-25, 25-23, 23-25, 15-8. Broome bounced back in their final match of the day with a sweep of Herkimer, set scores were 25-11, 25-22, 25-19.

Stat leaders for the day were Tiffany Ostrom (Binghamton, NY/Binghamton) with 21 kills  Sarah Raichlin (Binghamton, NY/Binghamton) had 117 assists, Madison Paugh (Harpursville, NY/Harpursville) added 34 digs, Melissa Alden (Warner Robbins, GA/Northside) had an astounding 26 blocks and Shelby Pettersen ( Deposit, NY/Deposit Central) chipped in with 4 aces on the day.

Broome (8-5) returns home to the West Gym this Wednesday for a MSAC match against Jefferson CC beginning at 6:00 P.M.
