The volleyball team came from behind in the fourth set to defeat Jefferson CC 3-1 in a MSAC match tonight in the West Gym. Set scores for tonight were 25-13, 17-25, 25-17, 25-19. In the fourth set Broome was down 19-17 before running off 8 straight points to win the match.
Stat leaders for the day were Tiffany Ostrom (Binghamton, NY/Binghamton) with 12 kills Sarah Raichlin (Binghamton, NY/Binghamton) had 34 assists, Marisa Tubaugh (Windsor, NY/Windsor) added 25 digs and 7 aces and Melissa Alden (Warner Robbins, GA/Northside) had 8 blocks.
The Hornets (9-5;4-1 MSAC) will host a POD tournament this Saturday beginning at 9:00 A.M. in both the West and Baldwin Gymnasiums.
