Volleyball Takes All Three Sets At Home

The volleyball team took all three sets from visiting Davis College Thursday evening in the West Gym. In the first set the Hornets got off to a slow start before going on a 17-2 run to win it by a score of 25-10. Broome (7-1) took the last two sets 25-14 and 25-15.

Madison Delaney-Hammond paced the Hornets with 17 assists and 2 aces, Chase Page added 2 aces to go along with 16 digs, Sarah Bobier had 7 kills and Erin Page chipped in with 6 kills, Lauren Carpenter had 16 digs and Hannah Lazarus led the team with 4 blocks.

Broome will travel to Corning CC this Saturday for matches against Mohawk Valley at 10:30 a.m., Fulton-Montgomery at 1:30 p.m. and Herkimer College at 3:00 p.m.
