Broome player kicking ball
@ Jamestown

Broome regained their winning ways on Saturday with a 5-0 shutout over the Jamestown Jayhawks in a Region III match played in Jamestown. Arianna Michitti earned her 4th hat trick of the season and her team leading 17th goal as the Hornets struck only 22 seconds into the match. Center Midfielder Dana Stepp delivered a ball across the six yard box finding the foot of the charging Michitti. Three minutes later Michitti returned the favor delivering a perfectly crossed ball to Stepp who convincingly finished and the Hornets never looked back. Avery Kenyon picked up a through ball from Michitti and deftly netted the ball past the Jayhawk's keeper for the 3rd goal of the half.

The Hornets would add two more goals in the second half, both from Michitti. The defense continued to stay tough throughout the contest and the Hornet Keeper, Kayla Wyckoff, made two saves for her 5th shutout of the season.

SUNY Broome stands at 6-3 (3-0 MSAC) and begin a three game homestand beginning Tuesday at 4:00 P.M. when they host Fullton Montgomery CC.
