Aja Jackson Becomes National Champion On First Day In Utica
Aja Jackson won the women's 10,000 meter race on day 1 of the 2024 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Utica, NY.
Aja Jackson won the women's 10,000 meter race on day 1 of the 2024 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Utica, NY.
Jackson took 1st place and was crowned the National Champion in the event on Thursday, with a time of 40:37.64, which was over a minute faster than the Runner-Up. With this performance, Aja broke her own school record in the 10,000 by 56 seconds.
Jackson will next compete in the women's 5,000 meter race on Saturday.
