Lloyd Saunders (Brooklyn, NY/Thomas Weaver) hit two free throws with eleven seconds left to go to put host Broome (1-1) on top 64-62 to seal the victory against The Mighty Oaks (0-1). Saunders finished with 25 points and 13 boards for his second double-double in as many games. Eric Barry (Marathon, NY/Marathon) chipped in 14 points for the Hornets.

Broome held ESF to 19 first half points but struggled in the second half on defense giving up 43 points.

The Hornets will host Mohawk Valley this Tuesday following the women's game scheduled to tip off at 6:00 p.m.
