The men's basketball team dropped a Mid-State Athletic Conference game 62-61 against Cayuga CC in Auburn, NY on Saturday afternoon. The Hornets fought back from a 12-point deficit late in the game and had a chance for the win at the buzzer on a baseline jump shot by Ryan McMurray but the shot was waved off by an official. McMurray led three players in double digits for Broome with 20 points, Lloyd Saunders added 19 points and Eric Barry had 10 points.

The Hornets will host Corning CC this Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. in the Baldwin Gymnasium in their last game before the MSAC Tournament begins next Tuesday, February 19th.
