Alex Pelto scored the game's only goal for the Hornets (0-2-0) as SUNY Broome fell at Genesee CC 1-3, in Batavia, NY on Saturday afternoon. Pelto's goal came courtesy of an assist from Connor Oakley. Freshman goalkeeper Antony Abreu had six saves in net for Broome.

The Hornets are back in action on Tuesday, Sept. 4 when they host Finger Lakes CC for a 5:00 p.m. start at SUNY Broome's Alumni Field.
