Second Half Troubles Continue For Women's Basketball Team

Hudson Valley's balanced attack proved to be too much for Broome in a 61-33 loss in Troy on Saturday afternoon. The Hornets could manage only 10 points in the second half and shot only 20% from the field for the game. The Vikings took a 1 point lead into the half and came out and outscored the Hornets 37-10 in the second half.

Broome was led by Megan Mullins (Binghamton/Chenango Valley) and Jennifer Celiberti (Newark Valley/Newark Valley) with 8 points apiece. Randi Conway (Bainbridge/Bainbridge-Guilford) added 7 assists and Megan Pipher (Binghamton/Chenango Valley) had 7 boards.

The Hornets are off for the semester and open up on January 8th at home against MSAC opponent Jefferson CC.
