Jennifer Celiberti recorded her ninth straight double double with 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead Broome past visiting Corning CC on Wednesday night. Megan Pipher also had a double double with 16 points and 15 rebounds. Back to back 3-pointers by Celiberti and Emily McElwain gave the Hornets the lead going into halftime 28-26. The Red Barons were led by Marissa Pike with 22 points.

This marks the first time all year the Hornets turned in back to back wins. Up next for Broome is a trip to Johnston for a 2:00 p.m. Region III contest against Clinton CC.
