Women's Basketball Falls Short Against Finger Lakes CC

The women's basketball team had four players in double figures but it wasn't enough for Broome to pull out the win against MSAC opponent Finger Lakes on Wednesday evening. The Hornets trailed 31-26 at the half before falling to the Lakers 64-52. Jennifer Celiberti notched her fifth straight double double with 11 points and 12 rebounds for Broome. Kelcie Marshall led Broome with 15 points, Megan Mullins had 12 points and Megan Pipher chipped in with 10 points. Cassi Straight led Finger Lakes with 23 points.

The Hornets travel this Saturday to Tompkins-Cortland CC for a 2:00 p.m. game against the Panthers.
