Women's Basketball Team Fall In Watertown

Turnovers proved to be costly for the women's basketball team on Saturday in a Mid-State Athletic Conference contest against Jefferson CC. The Hornets trailed 23-18 at the half but thirteen second half turnovers proved to be too much as the host team took over in the second half en route to a 63-38 win for the Canoneers.

Jennifer Celiberti led Broome with 16 points and 11 rebounds and teammate Megan Pipher chipped in with 6 points and 8 boards. Jasmine Canady led Jefferson with 22 points.

Broome will return home on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. with another MSAC game against Finger Lakes CC.
