Both Tassey and Borihane had close, hard fought second sets but couldn't quite earn the win in No. 3 and No. 4 singles. Both will compete in the consolation draws tomorrow.
At first doubles O'Geen and Mott played very well after falling behind 4-1 in the first set to win the last 12 of 14 games.
Secord and Tassey lost a heart breaker in doubles. They fought off several match points to stay in the match but Illinois Valley proved to be just a bit stronger today as they pulled out the second set tie breaker 10-8.
Secord is seeded second in the 2nd singles flight and will play in the semifinal on Friday.
