The Hornets swept Nassau CC in their final match of the 2018 NJCAA Division III Volleyball Championships on Friday afternoon, good enough for a 9th place finish.
Broome volleyball fell to Queensborough CC 3-2 and swept Harrisburg Area CC 3-0 in day one of the 2018 NJCAA Division III Volleyball Championships, held at the UCR Regional Sports Center in Rochester, MN.

The women's volleyball team advanced to the 2018 NJCAA Division III Volleyball Championship in Rochester, Minnesota after sweeping Finger Lakes in the Region III A Championship match.
Broome defeated Finger Lakes CC in the semifinals 3-1, and followed that with another 3-1 win in the finals against Jefferson CC on Saturday to capture the MSAC Championship, hosted by Onondaga CC.
Broome completed their Region III POD play on Saturday at Tompkins Cortland CC with three wins to finish the regular season at 22-5 overall and 16-1 in Region III.
Broome traveled to Jamestown on Saturday and came home with wins against Erie CC and Niagara County CC before falling to Jamestown CC in the Region III POD.
The volleyball team picked up their second sweep in a row, defeating MSAC opponent Corning CC on the road Wednesday afternoon by set scores of 25-15, 25-19 and 27-25.
