Volleyball Comes Back To Win On Road

Volleyball came from behind to defeat Onondaga CC on Wednesday evening in Syracuse 3-2, after dropping the first two sets 25-12 and 25-22.  The Hornets won the last three sets by scores of 25-23, 25-15 and 15-6. 

Mackinzie Mee led the offense with 12 kills, Paige Taylor added 7 kills and Brianna Kosinski totaled 33 assists.  A balanced effort led to five players contributing double digit digs led by Alyssa Hovey with 26 digs, Mckenzi Donahue and Rayna Pouliot had 15 apiece, Kosinski added 14, and Taylor chipped in with 13. Taylor also contributed 5 blocks while Hannah Brown and Meghan Campbell contributed 4 and 2 respectively.  The Hornets improved to 3-0 with the win and the Lazers fell to 0-2.  

Broome travels to Corning on Saturday for the Corning POD and will face Jefferson CC, Cayuga CC and Onondaga CC.
