Broome won their home opener with a sweep of Onondaga in the West Gym on Tuesday evening by set scores of 25-22, 25-13, 26-24.
The team effort was led by Megan Carden on the offensive end with 11 kills supported by Gabriella Bishop and Melissa Carden with 8 kills each and Anna Tiberia had 22 Assists. The defense saw Casie Kephart, Anna Tiberia and Brianna Rossi recording 7 digs apiece. Bishop led the team with 5 aces on the match. The Hornets improved to 3-2 while the Lazers fell to 0-2.
Broome will travel to Dryden this weekend for the TC3 POD and face Onondaga CC, Jefferson CC and Cayuga CC.
