The Lazers refocused and took the fourth set 25-22. In the fifth and final set the Hornets opened up an early lead on the strength of Gabriella Bishop's 3 aces in her first 4 serves and held on for the 15-9 win and the 3-2 match victory.

In the second match the Hornets faced the Region's top ranked Jefferson Cannoneers. The Hornets pushed the Cannoneers to the limit and had a game point at 24-23, but Jefferson was able to rally for a 26-24 win in the set. The second set was another back and forth battle, but once again, the Cannoneers rallied late in the set to win 25-21. In the third set Jefferson open up an early lead and held on for a 25-15 set win and a 3-0 match score. Megan Carden led the offense with 9 kills, Bishop and Melissa Carden had 6 kills and Casie Kephart had 4.  Tiberia had a double-double with 22 assists and 17 digs.
