The Lazers, ranked #5 in the NJCAA Division III Women's Soccer poll, started the scoring early with a goal in the sixth minute of play.
The Onondaga offensive attack did not go away, but Hornet goalkeeper Madeline Hyzer managed six saves in the net on the day.
The Hornets' offensive attack was led by Jessica Wells, but the home team was unable to penetrate the Onondaga defense and get a goal on the board.
The Lazers improve to 5-0 with the win, while Broome falls to 0-3 on the season. Next up, the Hornets will be hosting the St. John Fisher JV team on Wednesday for a match at 5:00 PM.
