Broome traveled to Troy on Sunday afternoon for a twin bill against Hudson Valley CC and dropped the opener 13-3 before falling in game two by a score of 19-1.
The Hornets found themselves trailing early and often at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium. Errors led to the Vikings taking early and big leads that proved too much for the visitors to overcome. One bright spot on the day was Tyler Kopolow's performance, the 1st baseman collected 4 hits on the day and just missed a 3-run HR in game one but settled for double that plated 2 runs.
The Hornets will be back in action at home today with another doubleheader beginning at 2:00 P.M. against the Generals from Herkimer College.
