The men's soccer team lost their home opener 1-0 to Finger Lakes CC in A Region III contest Wednesday afternoon. Broome dominated and controlled the ball most of the first half and went into halftime scoreless. Anthony Costa scored the only goal of the game in the second half to lift the Lakers over the host team. Tyler Hinds (Vestal/Vestal, NY) was superb in goal with 11 saves and several impressive stops for the Hornets.

Broome will host the Corning Red Barons on Wednesday, September 3rd at 4:00 p.m.
