Men's Soccer Snap Losing Streak

The men's soccer team shutout Fulton-Montgomery CC 5-0 at Alumni Field on Saturday afternoon to snap a four-game losing streak. Ryan Bunker (Kirkwood, NY/Susquehanna Valley) scored the first goal with a header in the 14th minute off of a corner kick assisted by Kyle Garner (Vestal, NY/Vestal).  Christopher Ames (Chenango Forks, NY/Chenango Forks) scored in the 26th minute assisted by Natthan Krome (Johnson City, NY/Johnson City) from a set piece.  Spencer Nagle (Windsor, NY/Windsor) scored in the 57th minute from a shot about 20 yards out.  William Rupakus (New Milford, PA/BlueRidge) scored in the 63rd minute assisted by Krome from a shot and rebound and Philip Youngs (Otego, NY/Unatego) scored in the 64th minute assisted by Garner with another shot and rebound.  Ian Witham (Endicott, NY/Ross Corners Christian Academy) was in goal and had 2 saves.  The Hornets controlled the game and outshot Fulton-Montgomery 22-2. 

The Hornets travel to Watertown, NY this Wednesday for a 4:00 p.m. match against Jefferson CC.
